My name is Kathryn. I love Jesus because He first loved me. I am a church girl. I’ve lived in almost every major city in Texas (sorry El Paso!) and now make my home near Waco (made famous by David Koresh, Baylor University and a husband/wife committed to shiplap!)
I like to write words about Jesus, justice, politics, and pop culture. I used to co-host a podcast called Melanated Faith with my friend, Faitth Brooks. But of my many titles and roles, I am the proudest of being a daughter, a big sister, and a godmother to one of the spunkiest little girls in Northwest Arkansas.
Three Random Facts About Me
I have seen Beyoncé in concert six times, but only once in a Beyoncé inspired costume.
I love books but hate suspense, so I read the ending first.
I once got lost in Rome for hours, but it was okay because I had gelato.
